Ouch! Another bad one. I wound up in Smallville a.k.a Raeford, N.C. last night without a place to stay. I didn’t know what I was going to do and I had already had a pretty action-packed, strenuous day up to that point on the bike and on the ziplines with ZipQuest.
Not many photos today since I traveled from about 12am -9am (off and on…you’ll see!).
Today was a roller coaster of a ride. My zipline tour with ZipQuest in Fayetteville was scheduled at 11am with a group of other zippers. I woke up at 7am, figuring I would have enough time to get there. I got all sorted, handed in my keys around 9am, grabbed a quick brekkie and then hit the road. The roller coaster started chugging slowly up the hill, the chains slowly grinding me up to the top of the hill, bringing me to the apex, ready to plunge me down and leave my stomach in my throat. I love that feeling!…….. Sucker!
